I won a giveaway! / Balmi review.

So a wee while back I entered Sophie's give away and I won! I enter giveaways pretty much every time I see one (I mean, why not? there's nothing to lose)

I got my package and it had this lovely little note in it, Sophie's handwriting is so cute!

I was super excited about winning this. I am a balm-addict. When I was around 14/15 I had a few jars filled to the brim with all different types. It got to the point my mother actually banned me from buying anymore. I'm not quite so bad anymore, but I do love a new taste. I've read quite a bit about these and the EOS Balms being compared, so I was definitely looking forward to trying it.

The packaging it came in was very cute. I love everything from the ball shape right down to the font choice!

The little key-chain connector is very handy too. At work I always end up with horribly chapped lips (A mixture of hot-to-warm food servery and our rubbish heating/air con I assume) so this is now attached to my lanyard along with my keys.

It smells divine and tastes just as good. It's a sweet mint flavour and after you put it on your lips tingle (a very similar sensation to Soap and Glorys 'Sexy Mother Pucker'). It's really refreshing.

As you can see, its completely clear on your lips, just leaving a lovely glossy sheen on your lips. It lasts a long time too, realistically I could apply every 3 or so hours and my lips would  still be moisturised. Honestly though, I can't resist the gorgeous smell and re-apply every hour or so, especially at work. I usually have issues with chapped lips, due to work, and licking my lips a lot, but since using this they've really improved. I can never usually wear lipstick because it just sticks to the dry bits but recently I've had no issues because of this balm.

I'll definitely be getting myself another flavour  and would recommend this to anyone!

anyone else tried Balmi balms? Better than EOS balm?

also, just a blogging question; Do I use too many photographs in my posts? I read a lot of blogs and I've noticed recently that a lot of bloggers are popping 2/3 photos at start of their posts and having all their text together. Would you prefer it if all my text was together rather than split between posts?
