So, if you've read my info section at the side or my about me page, you'll know I'm a photography student. I figured after almost 2 years blogging, and the creation of my new photography portfolio website www.jayde.co.uk it's about time I shared a wee bit of my work. (also, I got super lucky with that domain name!)

One of my modules this year, had us team up with a 4th year popular music student for one of our project. We first had to present the students with a portfolio of our work and pitch ourselves to them- very nerve-wracking I must say. I was very pleased to find out that Charlotte had chosen me to be her photographer (especially as she was my first choice of client). Charlotte is a very talented musician- Her website with links to her Soundcloud and YouTube channel here. We decided we were going to go for a very dreamy and light kind of vibe and so chose the woods as a perfect location.  After two photo shoots (one which ended in being followed out of the woods, in pitch black, by a few foxes) these were some of the results:

I was kind of pleased with the results, and Charlotte seemed to like them- She's even used one as her header image on her website. I'm never going to be happy with my work I don't think, but I suppose if I become complacent I will never grow- swings and round-a-bouts I guess! I won't get any real feedback from my lecturers until the end of term, but I'm not feeling to positive about that as these images are not really their kind of style. I love my course, but the marking etc is very subjective, even though my images fit the brief and the client was happy with them I could still get a super low mark if whoever marks them just isn't keen on them, scary business! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

If you want to see more of my work you can have a peek at my flickr (pretty bare, I need to update this more) or my website (which I'm still building, so is pretty bare too- oops!)
